The purpose of Make Lincoln is to promote makers and making. In the spirit of this purpose, we require that all items to be sold in the commercial zone be substantially made or designed by the booth registrant. You may be asked to demonstrate, or provide proof of, how your items are made.
Commercial zone booths must have a public demonstration component, showing attendees how a product is made, or the process of a component of the product. (The demonstration does not need to be complex, and does not need to show production of the item from beginning to end.)
3. Sales may only occur within the “Commercial Zone” located next to, but not in, Trago Park. Booths in violation of selling outside of the commercial zone may be subject to a $1,000 penalty fee for violation of park rules and dismissal from the Make Lincoln event.
4. You must comply with all related federal and state laws and regulations. Your State Sales Tax ID Number is required. Please enter in space provided.
We are required to inform you that a Nebraska Department of Revenue representative may be in attendance to ensure compliance.
5. The board of directors of MakeShift reserve the right to refuse or revoke any booth not in compliance with the above guidelines. Registrant may apply for refund of booth donation fee, which will be subject to board decision.
Questions regarding booth qualifications may be directed to the board at makeshiftlincoln@gmail.com.
